For those wondering if I got to go on my little day trip last Sunday, I did but I didn’t get to go to the place I wanted. It was closed on Sundays. So I chose somewhere closer to home – Farmington Bay. I went there six years ago which was what started me on this blogging journey. Farmington Bay is part of the Great Salt Lake and it was where I saw the bald eagles last time.
Fully expected to see the majestic bald eagles this time, I went armed with my long lens. Disappointingly, I didn’t see any bald eagles. I didn’t even see a bird. But I got to see some beautiful views though plus two hours of quiet and peace in an isolated place.

What a magnificent photo. It’s almost surreal looking. I think one day you’ll have your own photography exhibit, Yinglan. You have such talent. xo, pam

Thank you. 😊 It’s one of the things I love about doing post-processing in Lightroom, I get to bring out a lot of the details I don’t usually see with my naked eyes. I hope I can do this full time someday.
