Where do you get your news?
Google, either that or from a friend on Facebook. Google news is taiilored to the type of news I want to read so I’m only getting news in the areas I want to read, i.e. finance, entertainment, no politics mumbo jumbo.
When was the coldest you’ve ever been? The warmest?
By coldest, do you mean temperature as in what is the coldest place I’ve ever been? Because the coldest place I’ve ever been would be where I live now which is the frozen tundra of northern Utah. It’s been pretty chilly since September and these days, the temperature hardly moves above 32-degrees-Fahrenheit or 0-degrees-Celsius and when it does, I’d be sweating like crazy.
On the other hand, the warmest place I’ve ever been is Las Vegas and vicinity. That heat was so unbearable when I visited last summer. I felt like I somehow got put into a giant oven with a temperature setting of “bake until charred.”

What ‘old person’ thing do you do?
I like to talk on the phone instead of text or tweet or snapchat because by the time I type all I need to say on my phone, I would’ve already spoken it and received a reply. I am very impatient when it comes to waiting for a reply.
Do you eat food that’s past its expiration date if it still smells and looks fine?
I have admit, yes, I do do that. In fact, I did that last week when I used a bottle of rice vinegar that was expired in 2017 to make some salad dressing. I don’t think vinegar goes bad and that rice vinegar didn’t taste funky to me.
Talking on the phone is an old person thing to do? LOL. I fall in that category.

I think so since everyone seem to be texting nowadays.

Thanks very much for participating in Share Your World this week! 🙂 It IS cold ‘up here’ isn’t it? I too call the ‘frozen tundra’ of Northern Utah, home. Have been freezing this whole ‘winter’, even though sometimes it’s not that cold (to me). I look forward to more of your wonderful posts! 🙂

I think it’s been snowing a little more down in Salt Lake this year than previous year. There were some days I noticed when I left home there were little snow but when I got to work, there were inches of snow on the ground. Overall, I think this winter has been a little milder than previous winters, at least by the lack of snow on my front lawn.

As for me, I write on paper then type it again on my p.c (instead of doing it once). I blog in the Entrepreneurship and money industry.

I love writing on paper too but my hand gets cramped up so easily nowadays.

Well, on the other side of the Basin from your frozen tundra, this has been the warmest “winter” I can recall. I think it must be in the mid-60’s today, and I’ve got the house open… again. Even the local bears are active. Almost got me thinking about that summer ski-lift shot you posted.
I use email (which I’m told is an “old person” thing) rather than text, because I don’t like having to respond right away. (It’s actually a “retired” person thing.) 😉

Wow, I wish it was this warm here. It’s been hovering near freezing for the past month but temperature is expected to be warm as we head into February.
I like using email too for the same reason of not wanting to respond immediately but I also don’t like emails because it makes me feel like I have to compose a lengthy letter every time even though I don’t have to.
