Friday Fictioneers: Chaotic World

Sitting on this park bench, I am supposed to feel cold but somehow, I feel nothing except exhaustion and resignation. It’s been a long night. Part of me wants to go somewhere, lie down, and sleep it off. I have the money. I can afford a high-end hotel room, munch on room service, and possibly let my rage out on the room yet somehow, the other part of me just want to sit here, enjoy this winter scene, careless of getting arrested for vagrancy. This is a beautiful world. I only wish it’s not filled with chaos, frustration, and irritation.

Each week, Rochelle Wisoff-Fields-Addicted to Purple hosts Friday Fictioneers where we’re challenged to write a piece of flash fiction in 100 words, more or less, based on the picture above.
