What is your favorite type of cookie (they’re called biscuits in Europe I believe)?
There are two kinds of cookies I love – the soft, melt-in-your-mouth cookies and the cakey cookies. My favorites are snickerdoodle and my homemade chocolate chip cookies especially if they’re still warm.
Why did I stop making them? I should make some. Mmm…
If you could choose one age and remain that forever, what would it be and why?
I would pick 27. First of all, 27 is over 25 which means I can rent a car and not worry about being charged more or be rejected by the car rental company. If I’m not mistaken, most car rental places require the driver been over 25 before they can rent you a car.
Secondly, according to a radio station I listen to, 27 is a person’s happiest age. I was skeptical at the time but it’s true. Even with Mom’s constant pestering, I was at my happiest at 27.
I was working at a job I like. There were office gathering almost once a month. There was no pandemic. We could hug each other. I didn’t have occasional hot flashes, weird mood swing, and problems with my blood.
So there, the pros outweigh the cons. Age 27 is the age I want to stuck in.
Do you have a traditional drink during the holiday season?
My traditional drink during the holiday season is and always has been Hot Cocoa though I should try Egg Nog once to see why egg yolks with milk are considered a holiday drink.
Are you able to still believe in holiday magic as you did when you were a child?
I don’t think I ever believed in holiday magic. I didn’t celebrate Christmas in the traditional sense until I was 10 and even then, I wasn’t wild like some kids where they would stay up on Christmas Eve to wait for Santa Claus to drop them a gift. I think I mostly believed (still believe) in the magic of hope. I think there’s magic in that and the best part is it will ever run out unless you stop believing.
