There was a wind storm last week – 70 mile-per-hour gusts blowing past the protective mountain ranges. It made my Wednesday drive to work a bit treacherous yet interesting at the same time.
That afternoon, after getting home, my mom decided we should visit the Utah State Capitol on Sunday if the weather permitted. She wanted to see the flower blossoms and I definitely wanted some new pictures as I was using the old camera on my last visit and the photos didn’t turn out so great – it was full of spots as the result of a moldy sensor.
On the drive to the Capitol, she kept asking, “Do you think the wind storm blew the flowers away?” I shrugged, secretly crossing my fingers for beautiful blossoming flowers.
Lovely take on! 🙂
