I’d bet a lot of people cannot guess what this flower is. I was playing with my macro lens filter last weekend around my garden and happened to had caught these – basil flowers. I have planted 3 basils in my garden and they have gotten huge. I didn’t know they’d get so tall. Next year, they are going somewhere else rather than shading my peppers.

After a long hot July, my petunias are making a comeback. They’ve begun blooming again when the temperature started hovering around 90-degrees. The garden is so much more colorful with flowers.
