“Stop walking so fast!” Sasha screams as she struggles to walk in her new walking boot. She’s battling with endless health issues. The latest was the worst as she suffered multiple fractures in her right leg and foot due to brittle bones.
“I’m giving you motivation,” her sister, Nisha, shouts from the end of the block, knowing Sasha would never turn down a challenge.
With all her strength, Sasha pushes her crutches and leg forward. Move together now, she thinks as she advances forward. She let out a breath, “That’s one small step for Sasha, one giant leap toward bootless.”
