How do you prefer to travel  (plane, car, boat, bike, train, other)

As much as I prefer travel by car, I guess it will have to depend on the destination. For example, there’s no way I would get to Europe or Hawaii by car unless a flying car or a sailing car were to be invented.

I prefer to travel by car because there’s a freedom that goes along with car travels that the other mode of travels don’t have. For example, for plane, you’ll need to go to an airport, go through the TSA and customs, go to a specific and wait. For train, you’ll need to go to a train station. Well, you get the point. With a car, you don’t have to do that. You don’t have a concrete destination either with a car. You can stop anywhere you like and go anywhere you like.

I also prefer travel by car because I hate packing, period. Packing, unpacking, and repacking suitcases, no thank you. With a car, there’s a beauty to just set up a few boxes and bags and then just load the essentials and go. There will always be opportunities to purchase more items on the road, if need to. Unlike airplane and train travels, there’s little to no room to add additional stuff to your luggage if your suitcase is full.

Lastly, I prefer to travel by car because there are so many places that are only accessible by car and possibly hitchhiking. Like when I did my road trip in 2021 to the scenic Highway 12, this place is a must-see destination by car. You can fly there nor can you take a train there. You must drive to see this place. You see why I like traveling by car?
