Do you like change?

It depends on the change. Some changes are good while some are bad like changes in the weather tend to cause my mood to shift and my head to hurt, so I’m not a fan of those. Then, while travel is a good change of pace in life, I don’t like when there’s a time difference and when I’m spending a lot of time doing pretty much nothing.

Can you remember the last time you had to use an operator service?

Yes, I think it was 2 weeks when one of my prescriptions expired. It was a frustrating ordeal to say the least. Note to self: next time, don’t wait until the week of a long weekend to run out of medication.

Long story short, I had to maneuver not only the pharmacy phone system but the doctor’s as well. My pharmacy has the worst phone system in the world because after entering my information and telling it what I need, I was routed back to the beginning. It was like I went around a big circle and wasted 15 minutes of my life. I finally got my medication after the long Labor Day weekend last week and I’m glad I was fine to be without it for a week.

What is the best and worst ‘hold’ music you have had to listen to?

I have listened to so much “hold” music that I can’t tell them apart unless there’s something very distinct about them. I’ve been put on hold with long-winded classical music that would’ve put me to sleep unless I had something to do besides holding on the phone and I’ve been put on “hold” to the same spoken message repeating over and over. I don’t know what’s worse.

I also remember there was this one time, I cannot recall which customer service I was calling but the “hold” music was a Coldplay song playing over and over, never ending. I didn’t recognize the song at first, only the band. I only recognized the song when I played on my iPod and let’s just say I had to delete that song at once as it’s stuck in my head forever. Compared to the other “hold” music, I would rank this to be one of the best, just because I like the band.

Do you find numerous ‘options’ annoying when connected to an automated service?

Actually, I don’t mind it as long as it leads me somewhere and helps me solve whatever I need to get resolved.
