When under stress, or not feeling 100%, do you take it easy or challenge yourself?
How do you deal with this kind of situation? Do you relax, take it easy, I and wait for the feelings to pass or physically get better, or do you take it head-on and challenge yourself with a new task?
I often find myself under stress, regardless whether it’s work-related stress or home-related stress. If it’s work stress, I typically slow down and let the feeling pass because if I work at my normal pace while under stress, there’s bound to be errors made.
Home-related stress, on the other hand, is different. This kind of stress isn’t the same as the typical 40-hour workweek job where after I clock out, I no longer care. No, this is the type of stress that never stops. It’s dealing with my mom, personal finances, among other things. Even if I want to take it easy, I’ll have to tackle them sooner or later.
If I can, of course, I’ll wait for the feeling to pass before tackling whatever it is with a level-head instead of an anxious one. Sometimes, I would try to wait it out and hope that it would resolve itself but let’s face it, it’s life, not many things in life resolve itself, though one can always dream.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts Yinglan. I think you have the right approach, take it easy when not 100% well. At home, I hope that your mom realizes how much stress she gives you and eases up on that. Hugs

I’ve told her that plenty of times but she doesn’t think I should be stressed because, her words, not mine, “I give you everything.”

I think she lives in a bubble of her own and doesn’t sees your discomfort.
