#SundayStills: Something #Frightful

This week, on #SundayStills, in the spirits of Halloween, I hope to entertain you with some fun frightful images. Mwahahaha…

I don’t typically decorate my house for Halloween. In fact, I barely want to go outside on Halloween. If it wasn’t so cold outside, I would probably reconsider. Geez, why can’t Halloween fall in the middle of summer instead? If it’s in the middle of the summer, I will probably like it more.

Anyway, many of my neighbors are eager decorators and on warmer days, when I feel like heading out for a mindful walk, I’ll notice the decorations and take a picture of them.

There, there was that year – 2016 – when my aunt was here and she wanted to see everything and unfortunately, everything also meant I get dragged along as she doesn’t speak and understand English. So on Halloween 2016, we stood outside of the most popular house in the neighborhood and wanted for the show to begin. It was dark and cold – two of my least favorite combination – but I must admit, the light show was great.

I’m not particularly frightful of spiders and other insect intruders in the house. They are more of an annoyance than a source of fright for me though I wouldn’t go so far as to say I would pick them up and play with them. After all, they might be poisonous.

Mom, on the other hand, would scream her head off if there was a single bug in the house. I remember the last 2 years when I was starting my seeds indoor and she threatened to dispose my seedlings because there was a gnat infestation. Now, that’s some frightful moments for me.
