“Buy… Tyson… Stock,” Michael read the words slowly on the piece of yellow notepad paper stuck to the fridge with a magnet, “who’s Tyson and why is mom making him soup?”
“Hi sweetie, aren’t you supposed to be getting ready for school?”
“Mom, who is this Tyson you’re making soup for?”
“Huh, Tyson, who are you talking about. I’m not making soup for anyone.” Michael held up the piece of paper and instantaneous, she burst into laughter, “Oh, that stock, no sweetie, that stock isn’t soup, it’s an investment. Mommy’s going to own a portion of Tyson Foods.”
Written for Six Sentence Story. The prompt is “Stock”.

Lol! Funny.

May she profit from the investment. It is good to see that her son is concerned about what she does.

I think it was more like her son was jealous than concerned.
