Sunrise or sunset? That is a great question of preference. I guess it depends on whether I’m feeling like an early riser or a night owl.

Honestly, I love a great sunrise because I don’t get one where I live. There’s a gigantic mountain located to the east, which always blocks the early morning sun. It’s one of the cons of living on the Wasatch Front – one can only see the sunset and not the sunrise.
Watching the sun ascend from below the horizon has become a recreational activity for me because it actually involves driving at least 4 hours southward and booking a hotel for the night. Definitely not something I can do on a daily basis.

Sun rising and setting, each marks the beginning and the ending of another day. I still can’t decide which I prefer more than the other but if it all comes to it, I would say I prefer sunset for its convenience.

I like the idea of a night in a hotel just to catch sunset and sunrise. I miss both most of the time. But from my bed I can watch the moon travel across the sky.

That’s great. I can’t see anything from my bed.

I love to view sunrise or sunset through the windscreen.
But definitely when the road isn’t loaded with traffic 🙂
Lovely captures.

Thank you. I actually stopped beside the road, opened the window to capture that sunrise. It took a moment but thankfully, I was on a road that does not see frequent traffic.
