Are you superstitious?
I have written about a post about my one superstition about 10 years ago, near when I first started my blog.
To this day, the eye twitching thing remains my one superstition except now, I will be cautious no matter which eye twitches. My left eye recently twitched for three weeks straight, which was frightening because left eye twitch is a bad omen. I spent several nights searching the world wide web for answers but a majority results were telling me that it’s caused by lack of sleep and stress.
For three weeks, I carefully took each step, fear I would fall on the next one, I drove only to work and nowhere else, fear if I broke routine, something bad would happen, and I meditated and slept, hoping my eye would just stop twitching. It’s distracting and it made me anxious.
Finally, one day, it stopped. It was like a constant drum beat in my head has stopped beating suddenly. Fortunately, nothing major happened. No accidents, no falls, just another mess with my thyroid, which I can deal with.

So, perhaps it was stress.

My Italian Grandma had many, but this is the first time I’ve heard of the eye twitch.

My mom was the first to believe in the eye twitch thing and then I started to believe it when it started happening to me.
