Another Completely Fictional Story..
My roommate walked in as I was sealing the boxes with tape. “What are you doing?” She asked, “You’re not moving out, are you?”
I laughed, “Nah, I’m just clearing some of these things out and putting them in a storage facility.”
“What are they anyway?”
“Records, taxes, for the business back when everything must be printed and documented on paper.” My roommate nodded, “These days, everything’s on the cloud, you know.”
Of course she knew. We both work from home and I’ve seen her workstation. There’s not one piece of paper on her desk. In fact, she’s my employee.

Ah yes, the cloud. Clouds are very insubstantial, shifting things. No wonder they don’t seem as reliable for record-keeping as good old paper and boxes. Good story.

Times are a changing! I remember those days when everything was meticulously recorded on paper.

I agree, even 5 years ago, I had paper on my desk, these days, no paper whatsoever. Papers are for my writing hobby now.
