What is the weather like today where you are?

I don’t know yet. It seems like whenever I checked the weather on my phone, it would always tell me that it will be sunny the next day only to have this gray and gloom continue. The weather on my phone is saying it’ll be sunny with a high of 39-degree-Fahrenheit and a low of 19-degree-Fahrenheit. However, the weatherman on TV told me that high wind is coming today. Who should I believe? I guess we’ll see who’s right.

Have you booked your annual vacation yet?

I only know what my mom is planning as I never seem to have a say on when I take my vacations.

There’s a trip to Taiwan and Japan planned for March and that’s all I know at the moment. Of course, I do wish to stay home at the time because it’s garden season but it seems like I’m not allowed. She’d do anything to get me away from “growing stuff”.

I tried to hold her at bay for as long as I could but ultimately, she went and bought the plane tickets and booked the hotels behind my back.

Do you have a passport, and when does it expire?

That’s a good question. I mean I have a passport but when does it expire? I guess in a few years? I think I only got it a few years ago so it’s still practically brand new. It was my second time to renew my passport, so this would make my passport #3.

When was the last (or first) time you went abroad?

The first time I went abroad was when I was 10 when I moved from China to the US. The last time I went abroad was in 2023 when I went to Japan. To be honest, I don’t really like to go abroad, especially when I have to be on a plane for so many hours. I much rather to take road trips, at least, there’s no need to go through TSA and I don’t have to walk around with a large backpack and a suitcase. I dislike having to wheel suitcases around. Very inconvenient.
