They started out so innocent, just a couple of children playing about, raised by a good Witch. Then, they grew up and began to expect things. First, it was a house, then, money and food.
The Witch gave them a house and fed them well. “Now, children, you must earn your keep. Sweep the castle and I shall reward you handsomely.”
“How about you pay us first?”
“Now, children, that’s not how the world works,” explained the witch, but they refused to listen. “All right,” muttered the Witch as she raised her wand, “how about I teach you a lesson?”

The witch wanted children but couldn’t have any. I felt the children suffered from similar fates want parents but got a witch instead.
