Taiwan Day 3

After 3 days, I think I’m officially a convert for phone photography.

So far, I have only posted one photo that was taken with my big camera. All the other photos have been shot with my s23 phone. I shoot the photos in RAW and edit them in Lightroom. Even though I can’t zoom in and out, there’s enough megapixels that even when I cropped the photos, it’s still pretty big.

The photo above was shot with my phone outside of my hotel room. Taipei 101 can be seen in the distance despite the hazy skies.

We moved into The Grand Hotel for the next 3 night. This hotel is esquisite and elegant, at least in my opinion. It became a hotel in 1952. Before then, it was a temple.

This hotel has housed many famous figures from world leaders to entertainers.

This is our room for the next 3 nights, until the 14th.

Earlier in the day, we visited President Chang Kai-shek’s former home. There’s now a park surrounding his home. I plan to return to the park when we return from Japan to see its tulip festival and rose garden. It’s amazing how early spring comes at 25-degee latitude. I posted those photos in my previous post.
