The moment Iggy entered the house, she could feel a supernatural breeze blow past her. There in the corner, stood Hector, the spirit that haunts the house, she approached Hector, “Hello,” she said gently, “do you live here?”
Hector stared wide-eyed, he pointed a finger at his chest, “Y-you can see me?”
Iggy nodded, “I’m Iggy,” she introduced herself, “I’m going to live here for a while, I hope you and your fellow ghost-mates won’t try to haunt me much. You see, I’m an author and I’m trying to write a book, so that’s why I chose this house because nobody wanted it, so I got it for a steal, Now, where are the others?”
From their hiding spots, four other ghosts congregated around Hector, all muttering excitedly, “she can see us,” until Hector shushed them, “You don’t have to worry about us, Ms. Iggy, we won’t bother you one bit.”

I don’t like scary ghosts. I think scary ghosts are over-rated and funny nice ghosts are under-rated and should be used in more stories.

Good observation that a haunted house would lower its resale value.
