Favorite color and its impact on your life?

Which is your favorite color and do you think it has any impact on your personality or lifestyle?

My favorite color is purple but I don’t like all shades of purple. I like violet-blue (somewhere between blue and purple) and lavender (pale purple even though I grow lavender and they’re not pale).

Looking at the color chart, I’m not sure whether it describes my personality accurately.

I think I like purple because my birth stone is sapphire, which is a blue-purple. I don’t own any sapphire though I should, I just haven’t met the right one yet. Most of the sapphire jewelry online is either crazy expensive or too gaudy for me.

Purple, being my favorite color does impact my choices when it comes to clothes and even the garden. Before you ask, no I don’t own any purple pants. I have purple t-shirts, jackets, and shoes but that’s just about it.

In the garden, you can just see how many shades of purple there are. I even chose to grow purple potatoes last year because I thought it would be cool to have a food that’s purple. This year, I chose to grow purple sprouting broccoli because, again, purple food.

I don’t have as much purple in the garden this year but, hey, the season is still early, maybe I might pop some purple flowers in there.
