Believe me when I say, I have wanting to post about my road trip but haven’t been able to due to some external factors. I am currently embarking on the 4th day of the 7 days road trip to the Four Corners of the United States. For those who don’t know what I mean by “Four Corners,” I’m talking about the spot where Utah, Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico meet. It is really quite an amazing place.

On day 1, however, the destination was Capitol Reef. I love Capitol Reef. It’s one of my favorite national parks. I have been there 4 times and have been wanting to share that love with my mom. She wasn’t impressed, she said it was her least favorite, not even after we hiked my favorite spot – Grand Wash. “Nothing special,” she said.

I hiked the Grand Wash trail 7 years ago when I visited the park for the first time in 2018. I didn’t finish the trail and have always wanted to go back and finish hiking the trail. I got to do that this time and got some new pictures out of it. This is one of them. Do you see a lot of faces staring back at you? That’s one of the beauty of Capitol Reef, all the strange formations of rocks, it’s all up to your imagination to interpret.
