Here’s a fun little 6 liner on Stake, hope you enjoy.
Stake, steak, stick, which one is it?
What do you use it for – to kill a vampire, to throw it on the barbecue, or to light a fire in a pit?
Why, I am using it to tame a plant, I know it’s not a steak, so I guess a stick it is.
A stick, what, huh, no one uses a scrawny stick to tame a plant, that’s dumb is what it is.
A stake is what you should be using.
Written for Six Sentence Story. The prompt is “Flat”.

Fun with words! And now, there are ‘beefsteak’ tomatoes! Are they beef, no, are they a steak, or a stake? no, are they a vegetable? no. a very confusing and very tasty food! haha:)

Haha 😆 English is a confusing language. I think it depends on how the tomato is cut, if it’s cut like a steak, then I guess it’s a steak.

I would use a stake as well for the plant. 🙂

I stake up my tomatoes also. Fun Six!

I used to until the plant bent the stakes, now I trellis my tomatoes with a string.

Tomato stakes are wonderful when there are good, juicy tomatoes growing next to them. Nicely done!
