Continuing from my previous attempt at this picture…

“Whoa,” was my first impression. The hood of the car was propped up with nearly all of its parts stripped. Chuy barked again, needing my attention. “What is it, boy?” Circling around the back of the car, I found Chuy sitting next to the rear doors, tongue sticking out, tail wagging, and looking at me with an undecipherable demeanor.

Heart pounding, I ventured a peek into the back-seat of the car. What I saw sent me stumbling backward until my butt hit the damp forest floor. In the backseat were two maggot-infested skeleton corpses, bound at the wrists, forehead touching.
