If you were offered “The Full English” what would you expect?

The Full English? I assume you’re talking about breakfast. I’ve watched YouTube videos on what an English breakfast looks like and I must say, it looks like one of those once-in-a-lifetime breakfast that I should try. I can’t say I’m a fan. I know there’s beans, blood sausage, I remember some kind of black thing (black pudding?), tomatoes, and eggs? When I watched the video, it seemed like each place the people went to, they were being served something different. So I don’t know what’s supposed to be there.
How do you like your toast (with butter, jam, marmalade etc) ?
I like my toast with creamy peanut butter and fruit preserve.
How do you prefer you eggs?
I like my eggs in all manners of cooking but I especially prefer them poached because that’s the hardest thing to master and it’s quite good when it’s mastered.
If you have a boiled egg, do you like to dunk ‘soldiers’?
Hmm… I can’t say. I’ve never tried one and had to look it up what this is. From the looks of it, it looks like a poached egg but runnier. I rather have the egg out of the shell.

Blood sausage (pudding) and beans for breakfast. It’s something everybody should try (before judging). However, after trying, one is allowed to judge. 🙂
I never got the hang of it. I was an exchange student, spent a summer with a family in Plympton by Plymouth. When my hosting family asked me what English dishes I liked I answered honestly. “Everything Chinese.” It made them laugh.

Haha! 😀
I’ve had beans for breakfast before. Granted, it was canned black beans before I emptied it into a sauce pan to reheat it, but still, it’s beans.

Thanks for joining in. You are right, a cooked English breakfast varies from place to place.
Basically you have bacon, egg, sausage, fried bread, tomatoes, and mushrooms. Some add beans, hash browns instead of fried bread, black pudding, and toast. We always had the full breakfast when we were in B&B as it set us up for the day and we wouldn’t need anything else until about 5pm when we could pick up a sandwich from somewhere.

I’m not sure about the mushrooms since I don’t feel too well after eating mushroom. I’ll have to try black pudding one of these days when I’m in the UK.

I like it, but a lot of people don’t.
