“Danny, do you really think it’s a good idea to have a barbecue gathering in the middle of the winter?” Jess asked, a browser window was opened on her laptop as she checked the weather forecast.
“Relax, sis, it’s been an extra warm winter, hasn’t it? I doubt it’ll turn freaky and snow in the next 48 hours.” Danny let out a chuckle as he put his groceries in the fridge.
“Um, Danny?” The expression on Jess’s face made Danny stop mid-motion. Immediately, he put down the meat and hurried to get a look on Jess’s laptop.
“What?” Danny shrieked, “70% chance of snow? Are you kidding me?” He stood back, closed his eyes, breathed to re-compose himself. When he opened his eyes again, he grabbed the computer mouse and navigated to the hourly forecast before sighing a breath of relief. “A-ha, see? It won’t snow all day and it doesn’t even say there’s accumulation. You know what? I’m not canceling. I’m going through with my barbecue.”

He should have trusted the forecast.
