Does the coin toss decides or your heart does?
What about you- have you found making hard decisions – difficult? Have you regretted any decision that you’ve made in your life?
I think that’s the difference between a movie and real life. In a movie, the outcome is scripted, so either way, the story moves on. I can, however, picture the author thinking through the outcome of each decision to be sure that the one with the best outcome is picked. I cannot picture the author making the decision by flipping a coin though. This kind of decision must be strategic.
I don’t make decisions easily. I analyze each decision like it’s a game of chess. What if this? What if that? A thousand what ifs and scenarios will probably run through my head before a single decision is made and then the moment the decision finalized, it seems like always, that’s when regret starts to kick in. I probably shouldn’t have did it, should I?
I think I’m this way because I’m an extremely careful person. Living with my mom has caused me to tiptoe through life as though the ground will explode at any moment because that’s the kind of person my mom is – a bomb that can go off at any second. Therefore, every decision I make cannot be as simple as a flip of a coin and it cannot be a matter of the heart. It has to be decisive and meticulous.

Good response Yinglan.
