CFFC: Made of Metal

One of my favorite cartoon characters as a child was Bugs Bunny. I often compare him to Jerry of Tom and Jerry. Smart, I would describe him. Do you think so?

So naturally, I had to get a picture when I saw him in Picadilly Square in London. Of all the statues in the square, my favorites were Bugs Bunny and Paddington the Bear. So cute!

I drove the entire stretch of Utah’s Highway 12 in May 2021. The entire stretch is about 120 miles, stretching from Capitol Reef National Park to Bryce Canyon National Park. On the second night of the trip, my uncle, aunts, and I stayed in a cabin in Escalante, Utah, across from the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument’s visitor center. In front of the visitor center was this little guy. I couldn’t help but take his picture.

Finally, I want to show something that’s not a statue. So how about this plane I saw in Taipei? The building behind the plane was the hotel my mom and I stayed for two nights. We stopped here briefly to catch our breaths because we had to take quite a bit of stairs to get down from the hotel and it was so humid…

Because our stay was so brief before we had to hit our next spot, I didn’t get to look at the placard to see what action this old plane saw. I’m sure it’s seen a lot. Rest well, plane, rest well.
