This week’s challenge is a challenge since I have so many photographs of trees, choosing the best ones was tough. I love trees because they represent nature. There are nothing more natural than trees, water, mountains, and rocks.
The state tree of Utah recently changed from Blue Spruce to regular Green Spruce. I still like Blue Spruce better. Its bluish-green tint is unusual, beautiful, and it stands out among all the green. In the forest last weekend, I saw mostly spruce trees. They were giant, bigger than I have ever seen. It was like looking at a field of Christmas trees.
This is from Adam’s Canyon. Now this is different. I didn’t so many spruce trees there as I did in the forest. I mostly saw regular shade trees which was just as good as spruce trees. Maybe even better since they come with a light breeze.
Finally, whenever I go to the forest, I always take a picture of the scene above me because I like how the towering trees form a dome over my head.
These are gorgeous!

Thank you. Those were some great trips and I agree, trees are impressive either way, whether in color or black or white.

Black and white always looks great
Especially the overhead trees. I always look up in a forest, so many different patterns, lighting, shapes…and squirrels.
