It was difficult for me to decide where to hike this past weekend after my retreat was done.

The forest is, in my opinion, a twisted place.
When I saw this week’s topic, these were the two pictures that immediately came into my mind.
When I saw this week’s topic, I immediately knew which picture I am posting.
I’m not sure what led me to take this photo over a month ago except I was playing with camera and the pattern on this tree trunk just jumped out at me.
I have been thinking about my hike up Indian Canyon last year and wonder if it’s time to do it again this year.
