This is a rose bud I found on my walk around the park last week. It was of a color I have not seen before or rather, I have not taken a photograph of before. I like this color. Its redness and yellow color reminded me of the sun, warm weather, summer.
I think this is a rare find since we are no longer in summer and the temperatures in recent days had been quickly declining. So to find a rose bud in the middle of autumn is a rarity.
Here are the technical specifications:
Sony DSC-W8000 (f/8, 5 mm, ISO-100, 1/160 sec)
I like the effect with the chain link fence, Yinglan. Thanks for joining the challenge!

Great shot Yinglan. I like the contrast between the metal wire and the delicate of the rose bud. Beautiful colour indeed.., a bit of peach; pink and orange mixing into one! Talking about pink, it’s the colour I wear most in October:

It’s a beautiful rose bud! I would think it would be rare at this time of year too.

Yeah, perhaps the owner of those roses are doing something to it to prolong its existence.
