A few nights before Chinese New Year, I accompanied my aunt and grandpa to Spring Flower and Light Festival at a local park. It’s one of the festivities the city puts out each year for New Year. It was also a chaos for newbie photographer like me, what with people rudely stepping in front of me just as I was about to snap a photo.
There was also a lot of snapping at the festival. Just about everyone – from the young to the old had a smart phone of some kind and they were snapping away photo after photo while I saw a few grown-ups carried professional tripods and DSLRs with enormous telescopic lenses. I’m not sure what those are for.
Anyway, here are a few “which way” pictures I managed to snap without people rudely photo-bombing the picture.
