This week’s topic of Corner had me thinking, wondering how I should interpret this topic because I don’t usually take pictures of street corners as well as my favorite places usually don’t involve a corner, my favorite places are usually beautiful natural scenery. Therefore, I decided to take this challenge in another direction.
As a lot of you know, I traveled to my hometown in China earlier this year and since I have not post pictures of my hometown lately, I decided why not use this week’s topic to post some pictures of my hometown. So I hope you like it. 😊
Please note that just because you don’t see a corner doesn’t mean the picture wasn’t taken at one. Click each picture to read its captions.

Ah the old red British Telecom telephone box. You don’t see them very much in Blighty anymore. In Hull the boxes were white because the phone lines were owned by a different company.

Yinglan, you have pictures of a variety of corners, corner or a table, booth on a street corner, corner of building walls. I found corners on all but two – curved road, and bottom picture. 😀

Well, even though it’s round, it doesn’t mean there’s no transition taking place and I think that’s what corners are all about – transitions. ☺ As for the last picture, that was taken at the corner of a staircase. 😁
