I used to photograph these flowers at the end of summer when they start creeping to the other side of the fence and would think they’re exotic and wonderful. However, I own the house next door now and I get to photograph these anytime I want without having to wait for them to creep pass the fence, I feel like they’re just ordinary flowers to me. Still though, I must admit, they are beautiful.

They look like they are the flowers on a Rose of Sharon bush. Very pretty!

They do, don’t they? Except these are slightly more cone – shaped. I googled and these are actually azaleas.

Maybe they are the Asian kind. 😀 My house’s previous owner planted mostly Asian plants.
