Share Your World – Week of January 22, 2018

List 2 things you have to be happy about?

  1. I got to go to some new places during my visit to China like Macau. The weather wasn’t great but I can still tick off I’ve been to this place.
  2. I will be going back to the U.S in a few days. As much as I like to stay in China, it’s simply too crowded for my liking.

Have you ever owned a rock, pet rock, or gem that is not jewelry?

If I remember it right, I was once gifted a jade elephant which I think I still have in my closet somewhere. Jade is a sort of rock, right?

Are you a hugger or a non-hugger?

It depends. I am a picky hugger. I only hug relatives with dry skin and no assaulting body odor.

What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.

I really appreciated getting the opportunity to hike a few days ago though I did get in trouble for it and now I am basically grounded until my trip back to the U.S. After my aunts learned of my adventure, they immediately sent an article about a boy getting his head chopped off while hiking in the nearby reservoir. The boy was in his teen.

In my opinion, I think it’s one in ten thousand chances this sort of thing will happen to me especially when I’m not in my teens. Their over-concern are sickening sometimes.
