If you did not notice, I was off-line last Saturday. I was four hours south in Bryce Canyon National Park. It was a trip planned before I went to China and we were supposed to go the weekend before I left for China but Mother Nature wouldn’t cooperate. Anyway, the night I returned from China, my mom called her friend and she was as excited as a child receiving a present for Christmas.
This was shot at Rainbow Point, the final stop along the 18-mile scenic route through the park. The elevation of where I was standing? 9,115 feet or 2,778 meter. The landscape was absolutely breathtaking and odd. Don’t you think? This looks like a giant lake except instead of water, it’s mountains and trees.

That’s funny, Yosemite is my next destination! I hope to go there this summer if I get the chance. Bryce Canyon is indeed a beautiful place. Once I got there, I didn’t want to leave.
