If you were given $22 million tax free dollars (any currency), what is the first thing you would do? (This is just a dream question, remember anything can happen in SYW.)

I would first pay off my house and buy another one, then I will stop looking for a job. Yep, I’m back on the market for a job. I didn’t get fired, I just need one more job to survive since I can’t get enough hours for the part-time job.

I would buy another house just for me. My mom’s family waited 13 years to immigrate to the U.S. and they’re almost there. My mom told me when they get here, they will all live in my house, just like when they visited in 2012. Eight people under one roof? Yikes! I’m not sure claustrophobic me would like that.

In what do you find the simplest of joys?

I used to have big expectations but lately, my expectations had been just to get through the day. With that said, I’ve discovered completing the simplest of tasks bring me joy and make me smile. For example, I cleaned out my closet yesterday – packed away my winter clothes to free up some hangers – this brought me joy.

What would be your ideal birthday present, and why?

An all-expense-paid trip to Maui would be a nice ideal birthday present. I would be able to visit my great-uncle (grandpa’s brother) who I just recently discovered as well as discover some of the scenery of Hawaii.

Going on a hiking trip definitely made me smile this past week because I got to be in a quiet place where the only noise were wildlife and the wonderful cool breeze. I got to see a deer which almost made me spit out my mouthful of water. At home, I can’t really hear anything these days with more fighter jets flying over every few minutes.
