Here is one of the first three dahlias that came in this year. It’s my first time growing dahlias. In the background, you can see the leaves have a lot of holes. That’s because I have a little pest problem and apparently, they only like my dahlia plants. I hope that little problem is resolved though since I doused the area with insect killing granules last weekend.
Isn’t this color pretty? I love that each of my nine dahlia plants are different colors.

I’m not sure if there are really nine colors yet, only three has come in and the picture of one of the flowers didn’t come out so good. I think it was an awkward angle. I’ll have to re-take that. I’ll post them as they come in. I fed the plants, so the flowers should be coming in any day now. Crossing my fingers.
