It was tough picking a photo for Photo of the Day today because I haven’t gone anywhere in the last two weeks. The weather has been cold, cloudy, and wet, not that a lot of rain has fallen. It’s as though Mother Nature has decided overnight to skip fall and get right into winter.
I went from wearing jeans and short-sleeves shirts to fur-lined pants and long-sleeves shirts plus a thick jacket. You can tell I’m terrified of the cold and yet I live in a place that snows a minimum of 6 months a year.
But hey, at least I haven’t started wearing my down jackets yet.
Anyway, I shot that picture late September and with the weather changing so fast, I decided to relive an autumn moment. Now, I just hope I can squeeze one more hike before Mother Nature dials that temperature down even more.

Don’t like the cold either. Great post and choice of photo though. All my best to you dear Yinglan. An excellent Tuesday to you. Thank you.

Winter has been late in arriving here. Thinking we are either going to have a very mild winter or it is hit us with a bang with no way to prepare. Love the yellow leaves against the blue sky in your photo of the day. Beautiful! 😊

Winter arrived quite late last year but apparently it decided to come early this year. I don’t like it when the weather is unpredictable like that. Thank you for reading. 🙂
