There’s a bird house in my backyard.

It came with the house and ever since we moved in, mom has threatened to take down the bird house. Last summer, curious, my aunt went into the backyard and peeked inside the bird house. “There are three little birdies in there,” she shouted.

I peeked too and there they were, three little furry birdies huddle together inside the house.

Now and then, I would catch two birds standing guard other the bird house. I’m guessing this is the parents’ way of saying, “Stay away from my babies!”
