One thing I must admit about Las Vegas or perhaps every city, the night view is definitely different from what I’m used to especially when it’s from the 35th floor of a 5-star hotel room.

It’s day 2 and my day started at 5:30 AM again this morning as I had to be at work at 6:30. I woke up this early for what? To get to the already-forming line at Starbucks at 6 sharp. Coffee and breakfast is required this morning, at least to get me through the morning.

My co-workers have been telling me working at the registration desk would be crazy, that there would be rushes, stampedes of people rushing to check-in. So far, I haven’t experience such thing. I think it might be a 2021 thing just like the heat wave sweeping across the west.

I think my cold is getting better each day but it seems like every time I feel that way, a coughing fit would start. At least my throat is not itching all day.

The surprising thing is, I’m actually able to get some actual work done on my computer today. I didn’t think this would happen. I was expecting to be swamp and then go back to work on Friday with a pile of work waiting me. To be able to complete some of my daily work tasks is such a gift.
