If you had the power to strike one person in your life permanently speechless, who would it be? (Real names aren’t necessary, vague descriptions are fine… and yes, this is being asked in fun and not to be mean)

If you ever read my posts, you’d know the obvious answer but I’m going to surprise you and say if I have the power to strike one person in my life permanently speechless, it would be my aunt (second oldest in mom’s family; mom’s the oldest). For those in the U.S., if you’ve ever bought health insurance on the marketplace, you’d know what a pain it is to fill out the form (unless you have someone fill it out for you). If you need to change something, you’ll have to go through the form all over again.

On Sunday night, just as I was watching a movie, my aunt and uncle came over despite I told them not to. Well, there went my Sunday night as I spent the night updating that form for them. I went through the form 6 times because when it came to predicting 2022 income, my aunt kept going back to 2020 income. The whole night, all she did was sit on my couch with her arms crossed babbling and yammering about things that were relevant yet irrelevant to buying insurance. It was very annoying and it drove me insane as I sat there clicking the continue button a thousand times.

If you could relive your childhood over again, what’s one thing from this modern world today you’d want to take back with you?

Can I take my knowledge and memories with me? That beats any technology because with my knowledge and memories, I can predict what’s going to happen every second and help me avoid going through the same painful moments over again.

Santa’s tired of people leaving him out cookies and milk on Christmas Eve night!  If you really wanted to get on Santa’s good side, what would you leave out for him to eat/drink instead? (This question applies whether you celebrate Christmas or not.  It’s just for fun, so imagination?  Welcome!  )

Does Santa like something savory instead? I have salty pistachios, perhaps he can crack a few open while he’s here and how about a glass of cola? It’ll keep him energized and he’ll need the energy if he’s going to fly about the world in such a short time.

What plans do you have for the upcoming holiday/celebration/festival season?

I fear this holiday might be the same as last year’s or any other day out of the year – just staying at home being bored out of my mind while mom blast the sound on her phone and tablet at the same time making my brain go bonkers. I hope I’ll have my carpal tunnel surgery done by then so at least I can write the old-fashion way without my hand going numb on me.
