This week, on Truthful Tuesday, Host Frank asks:
When it comes to working on a project, what gives you the most satisfaction? Starting something new, putting time into a pet project, or finally being able to push a completed project into the “done” pile?
There are only two ends of the spectrum with me – chronically procrastinating or an impulsive starter. For as long I know, I can never find a middle ground. It’s one or the other. I either delay on starting a project until someone or something gives me a kick from the behind or I want to start right away, buy all the materials and then my energy to continue is gone.
If I’m on the impulsive end of the spectrum when I started the project, that would be what gives me the most satisfaction but if I’m the other way around, then project completion will give me the most satisfaction.
Lol, I can totally relate to choosing between chronically procrastinating or impulsively starting. In fact, that’s how I started cleaning the house yesterday. I just started. For no reason. When I should’ve been writing. Anyway, thanks for this post!
