Are you more productive at night or in the morning? Do you think it’s possible to change and get used to another schedule?
I guess it depends on the day. On a work day, I am usually more productive as we head into the afternoon while on the weekends, I am more productive early in the morning. It’s the same way when I go on trips too – the productivity comes early in the day. My imagination is super productive at night, which is frustrating sometimes because I need to sleep but my imagination won’t let me.
I can get used to another schedule. My current schedule wasn’t my schedule two years ago, I can tell you that. It definitely takes a little time for me to adapt but I can do it.
What’s the biggest vehicle you’ve driven? If you don’t drive, what’s the biggest vehicle you’ve ridden in?
I’ve read some interesting answers for this question. Unfortunately, I haven’t driven anything larger than a full-size SUV, which is my mom’s car. My own car isn’t as large as hers. My car is what people call a compact utility vehicle (CUV), which is a little smaller than a SUV.
What songs would be played on a loop in hell? (Suspend disbelief for this one, it’s cool not to believe in Hell, but let’s use our imaginations to answer. Of course one can always skip the questions they find odd too. And yes, I took into account that individual tastes will influence individual choices.)
It wouldn’t be a song for me. It would probably be non-stop playing of Chinese opera music, although I listen to this close to 24/7 now because mom is listening to Chinese opera at top volume and it sounds like an animal is being slaughtered.
I was doing yard work last weekend and I could swear I could hear it everywhere even when I’m not home.
Oh I love that cartoon. Yes it seems to be that it happens about 4 am for me.

That’s interesting. For writing, I seem to be able to be more productive in the evenings, but for willpower-based stuff, like dragging my ass to the gym, then it’s the morning. Nice questions and answers!

Interesting, I think I saw a video about this. Essentially, our brains are more alive when it’s dark.

Thank you so much Yinglan for Sharing Your World! I had to chuckle at the opera music. If it’s the bits I’ve heard through films and such, yes, it sounds as if someone is scalding cats IMO. You are the best daughter and I hope she appreciates you! Your vehicle sounds just right for you! Have a pleasant week! 🙂
