Having my fruit-stand has always been a dream of mine because I wanted the opportunity to share the wonderfulness of perfectly sun-ripened fruit with others.
Not anymore.
After acquiring a permit, I set up my fruit-stand at the mouth of the canyon. There’d be lots of people hiking up the canyon at this time of the year. As I sat in my folding chair, a lady in a straw hat came up, asked, “What’s good?”
Before I could say anything, she popped a cherry into her mouth and spat the whole thing onto the ground. “You call this good? Blech!”

Ahahaha, this was funny =D

Absolutely. I had something similar happen to me before, I never shared food with that person ever again.

I must admit, fruits now-a-days aren’t that tasty.

Free, but unappreciated. Pay for your snacks, then maybe they will go down better.

Well, actually in this sense, it’s not free and still unappreciated.. Perhaps, it should be priced a little higher.

Her dream turned into a nightmare. Nice one.

I would say it’s more like an unsatisfactory dream. 😁
