This week, Aletta from the blog, Nowathome, leads Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #206 with the topic of Treasures.
My first thought upon seeing this topic was to search my archive for a photo of actual treasure. I don’t know whether this qualifies but it’s gold and behind glass, I’ll assume it is priceless.
But then, I had another thought. Treasure doesn’t mean real treasure as in items with intrinsic values. Sometimes, a treasure is just a moment in time, one that cannot be replicated, like this shot. I think I got this shot because I was in the right place at the right time. It’s a moment in time that will never be the same.
You captured a beautiful treasure given to us by nature. How lucky you could capture it with your skill and lens.
