In one sentence, how would you sum up the internet?
The internet is a world more screwed up than the real world, yet, at the same time, it’s a great and fascinating world where one can search for anything and everything and be able to find it.
Is true beauty subjective or objective? I suppose it can be both but most of the time, it’s subjective.
How many chickens would it take to kill an elephant? (like last week, I threw this one in for lightening things up a bit. There is no ‘right or wrong ‘ answer – just have fun with it).
Oh my goodness, what a question! 😂🤣😂 I would say lots and lots of chickens would need to be involved to peck the elephant to death. Or you might be able to get away with stuffing a chicken into each of the elephant’s nostril though I have a feeling the elephant would use its powerful lungs to blow those chickens into smithereens. I’m out of ideas.
If your five-year-old self suddenly found themselves inhabiting your current body, what would your five-year-old self do first?
Hmm, probably look in the mirror and be disappointed my appearance hasn’t changed much from since I was five except with some wrinkles around the eyes.
GRATITUDE SECTION (AS ALWAYS, OPTIONAL)
What’s an aspect of your personality that you’re grateful for?
My mom always says she’s thankful I have a mild temper. I don’t get angry easily on the outside. I do get angry very easily on the inside. I just do a good job of hiding it. Anyway, if there’s an aspect of my personality to be grateful for, it’s that because it’s allowed me to deal with my mom alone for the past decade or so after no longer having my step-father around to take the blows from my mom’s temper tantrums.
It’s so good of you not to B let your mom see your temper. 💖

She often say my mild temper came from my dad. It makes me wonder whether that’s true. If it was, then there must had been no fights when they were together.

Even mild-tempered people can be riled up to a fight.

Thanks for Sharing Your World Yinglan! Great answers! I laughed at the chicken one, you did an amazing job! You were adorable as a small child, so if you haven’t changed, that’s a very positive thing. 🙂 I too lived with a ‘minefield mother’ whose temper was uncertain and who took it out on people around her. It takes a great deal of patience, one thing that always amazes me about you is that you still show her love and respect, despite her being rather nasty (IMO). That is a wonderful trait to have and one to be proud of too. Have a great week and safe journey! I hope it’s restful (as much as possible).

Haha, thank you. I actually see my youthful appearance to have its pros and cons. The cons being not intimidating enough for some people and people not treating me like an adult.
To be honest, I don’t know how I can keep doing that, “show her love and respect”. I sometimes do hate that I’m a people pleaser and wish so much to be able to change that.
