Share Your World – Week of September 19, 2022

Are you an early riser or late starter to the day?

It depends on the season, I guess. I’m typically a late starter during the winter since there’s really not much to do because it’s so cold outside and the sun isn’t that pretty to look at. Most days, it’s mostly clouds. I’m an early riser starting from spring because that’s when there’s things to look at – garden, sun, nature, etc.

Do you adopt Breakfast like a king, Lunch like a prince and Dine like a Pauper.

I take my breakfast seriously because it’s the most important meal of the day. I try to get most of my protein in so I’ll have strength to get through the morning. Lunch is typically fruit and yogurt, sometimes a smoothie but mostly fruit. Since the pandemic, my mom has been urging us to have dinner at 4:30 PM like a senior citizen.

“Give the food time to digest,” she said, “that way, when we weigh ourselves in the morning, we won’t be disappointed.” I think there’s some truth to it because I haven’t gain a single pound since 2020.

Do you have a sweet or savory tooth?

As much as I like sweets, I think I’m leaning toward savory like potato chips, pork jerky, etc.

Would you prefer a hot relaxing bath or a massage (remember, family friendly people!)?

Definitely a hot relaxing bath because a massage sounds painful to me and I haven’t had massages before, not a pleasant experience.

My gratitude this week:

What has been the highlight of the past seven days for you?

If today counts as one of past seven days, I would say I am grateful for the start of my 11-day vacation and I am looking forward to shoot all the beautiful photos.
