Does your spouse/partner (or do you) help with the household chores?
I’m ashamed to say I don’t do much household chores because, personally, I don’t see the point in doing them if my mom will redo everything I’ve done afterward. It’s very annoying, if you think about it, and rude because it means you don’t appreciate that person doing chores. If she’s not redoing my work after I’m finished, she’ll stand on the sidelines pointing out how I’m not doing the way she’d done it in the past.
What is your least favorite chore?
Cleaning the floors for the same reason mentioned in the previous question.
As a kid, did you have to do chores to earn your pocket money/allowance?
My mom often complained (still does) about the lack of money and there was no way (in hell) she would had given me money for doing chores. With my mom around, my step-father didn’t dare spare any change.
Did you save any of your pocket money or spend it all?
I had little pocket money growing up. Until I moved to Texas and got a job babysitting a neighbor’s kid, my pocket money came from my step-grandparents who sent me money for my birthday and Christmas. The only extra money I got was by working one weekend in an advertisement assembly line. I did try to save the money but like anyone with cash in their pockets, it felt like it was burning a hole, just waiting to be spent.
My wish item at the time was a 30GB iPod, which was a crazy expensive item, and I looked at the small wad of cash I saved, I knew it was not possible. I always ended up settling for a DVD movie or a music CD but I rarely spend all the money, I will always spend it all with the exception of a few dollars.

I know what you mean about anything you do being redone. Luckily I don’t have that.
I remember wanting to upgrade my record player for a stereo one and saw exactly the one I wanted so saved like crazy until I had enough. When I went into the store, I was told it was a discontinued line, but they had one left and I got it for half price! I spent half of what was left over on albums and put the rest back into the bank.

That’s awesome that you got your record player at half-price. That’s something does not happen every day.
