Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #244: Glowing Moments

Happy Sunday! Soybend from the blog, Bend Branches, is the guest host for this week’s Lens-Artists Photo Challenge with the theme of Glowing Moments.

When I think of glowing moments, I think of all the in-the-moment photos of the sun. Like that cold January day in 2019 when my aunt, cousin, and I rode the cable car to the top of the mountain and this was what I saw at the top, the sun perched at a perfect angle for me to snap a photo.

It also makes me think of the night when the moon shined so bright that it lit the whole mountain. That was right before the eclipse, which I got to see through my camera lens. I thought it was so cool I got to see that.

Finally, when I think of glowing moments in nature, I think of the sky before and/or after a storm. The sky always looks so different and each moment is different from the next, which makes the photos truly special.

    1. Thank you. I love the before and after the storms, too. They are so unique that no two are the same and the sky changes every second. It makes photographing it challenging but the result is well worth it.

      1. Always. When I first moved to Arizona I was happy because there was always blue cloudless skies. Now that I have been here longer, I appreciate the clouds more. And look for them, as you do.
