If you could reinvent yourself, how would you like to be?
If I can re-invent myself, I would like to be someone who isn’t hyper-focused on one thing while neglecting everything else. I would also like to be someone who’s very good at one thing as opposed to knowing a little bit of everything.
Would you like to be a pet in your household?
No, I would not like to be a pet in my household. There’s a reason I have opted to raise plants instead of animals. Plants don’t go tearing up furniture and plants don’t have dander. Mom is “allergic” to everything these days that despite how much I want a houseplant, I can’t have any because mom will just blame her ailments on my plants as she already does.
If I were a pet in my household, I will no doubt see my mom constantly lecturing me, especially each time she sneezes. If I were a pet in my household, I will no doubt have to face my mom’s lecture everyday despite being a cute little dog who doesn’t know any better. Thank you but no thank you, I will go look for a better household to be a pet.
How many house moves have you had as an adult?
I’ve only ever moved once as an adult – from the house next door to my current resident.
As for before then, I cannot recall. I know my first move was when I was an infant, second move was shortly after my dad passed when I was around 5 or 6, then it was 3 years of shuttling between relatives. The next move was definitely the biggest – from China to the U.S. I stayed in California for 4 years before having my life uprooted to Texas. My life was uprooted again when we moved to Utah around 19 months later.
This was 2 moves ago – first into an apartment in Salt Lake City before moving into the house next to my current home. My last move was in 2017 when I moved into my current home.
What was your favorite home?
My own house is my favorite home, particularly the garden where I get to watch my plants grow, thrive, and provide for my sustenance on a daily basis.

I wouldn’t mind being a pet in our household because they are spoilt and loved to pieces.
Thanks for joining in again this week.
